Sustainability

I have an aversion to waste. I use left-overs in the kitchen whenever I can, I compost all our vegetable waste and I recycle paper at my desk, printing only when absolutely necessary.

I grow some of my own fruit and vegetables and buy local, organic food when I can.

I live in a rural area so need a car to go anywhere, and in the wedding business there is rarely time to be able to rely on public transport. However I do walk when I can (and appreciate the natural world every day with my four-legged friend).

I'm no saint, and I certainly don't expect you to be. But I do care about the world around us. These are just a few examples of how I integrate my values not only into my business but also my daily life.

Supplies

The USB flash drives which I use are made of sustainably sourced wood. All other packaging is recycled where possible.

I use electronic communication whenever feasible in order to minimise unnecessary use of paper.

I am always on the look-out for other ways to reduce my ecological footprint. I would love to hear from you if you have any suggestions. Please get in touch.
