The early photographer captures the birds
Some images from my early morning walk at Greylakes Nature Reserve on the Somerset Levels last week: a fearless swan content to allow me to approach very close, a crane who very helpfully perched on a gate post whilst I captured him on film and a blue tit feeding in bullrush seeds just as I was on my way home, not to forget the reed beds themselves whose structure makes for such interesting monochrome images and a teal with its beautiful markings swimming peacefully past.
